Exclusive Simbu Interview on Vaalu

Simbu has now clarified that he didnt pen the dialogues in Vaalu and as such, he cant be held responsible for those dialogues. Apparently in an effort to soothe the feelings of Dhanushs fans, Simbu has said Its the script-writers duty to pen the dialogues. As such, the director has written the dialogues in a casual manner and not with the purpose of attacking anybody. I cant keep on replaying to others imaginative thinking!

AR Rahman score music for Simbu's Manmadhan Part 2

The news is not yet official but it's said that AR Rahman has agreed to score the music for Simbu's film. Manmadhan Part 2 has been scripted by the actor himself and is a sequel to his hit film, Manmadhan. It was for Simbu's Vinnaithandi Varuvaya that ARR had scored the music earlier and, in fact, the music still continues to be a rage. A source close to the development reveals to us, "Simbu has had an initial meeting with Rahman and is all set to work with him. They will be meeting again to finalise other aspects." If the two come together for this project, it will be new pairing in Kollywood as the collaboration for Simbu is more than just acting. For Manmadhan Part 2, Simbu will also apparently be writing the lyrics as well producing and directing the film. And he is all set to reprise a double role. Manmadhan, released in 2004, starred Simbu in a double role and was a romantic thriller. The actor also directed that film. When we contacted Simbu, he refused to comment on the news.

Actor Simbu & ARR to team up?

This is the latest buzz in tinsel town. Rumor mills are working overtime that Silambarasan aka Simbu will join hands with Isai Puyal AR Rahman! It is said that the multi-faceted actor is planning to approach ARR for his pet project, 'Manmadhan 2'. Few others have it that ARR has already given his nod for the project! Sources close to the actor have it that the duo met and the talks will be finalized soon following which an official announcement will be made. Post work on 'Podaa Podi', 'Vettai Mannan', 'Vaalu' and 'Vada Chennai', it's widely buzzed that Simbu will start work on this sequel to his blockbuster 'Manmadhan', that rose him to a star status. He will wield the megaphone and pen the script apart from playing lead.

Simbu says no marriage conversation now

STR is one of the most eligible bachelors in the Kollywood, who is seriously in search of his better half. The actor, who is busy with his shootings, has recently had dinner with his parents and tweeted, "Family dinner after a very long time :) hope my mom doesn't bring up the marriage conversation ... Lol." Simbu, who is currently busy with back to back films Podaa Podi with Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Vaalu with Hansika and a gangster flick Vettai Mannan seems attended the family dinner after many days. After they are done with the dinner STR tweeted, "Just bring her home and tell us this is the girl I love and we will get u married to her !!! This is what my parents said :) feel blessed !!!." "But where is the girl ??????????? God only knows ... Hope she comes soon :) getting really bored of this Singleton life !!!," Silambarasan concluded. Let us hope STR gets his girl, who stops his search and make his life happy here after. Poda Podi single track to be launched

Silambarasan’s long in the making Poda Podi single track is getting ready for launch, in a few days’ time. 

The film which has STR and Varalakshmi Sarathkumaris said to be a rom com with music by Dharan.

Poda Podi directed by Vignesh has been in the making for the last two years. Recently the producers of the film completed all shoot for the film with the last schedule in Hong Kong.

Now Gemini Film Circuit the producers of the film are planning to release it by August. The post production work of the film has started in full swing.

That Silambarasan aka STR has a massive, fan following among youth and women became more than evident yesterday (June 12) when he was shooting for Vaalu in Triplicane area of Chennai.

The unit was shooting on the hot and busy streets of Triplicane around 4 in the evening when schools and college students were getting back home. Hundreds of people thronged the shooting spot and director Vijay Chandar had to stop shoot and leave the place. 

There was a near stampede as STR fans went berserk, with couple of them barging in to hug their hero as security people tried to put him in his car, the traffic came to a standstill and finally police had to be called.

His bodyguards even got into a brawl with the public, but fortunately no one was hurt. Fans were saying loudly “Unna maari pasangala paatha odane pudichudum.." dialogues from the teaser of his Vaalu.

Simbu, T Rajender and AR Rahman together for Manmadhan Sequel?

Sources say that T Rajendar is contemplating on producing a sequel to Manmadhan starring his son Simbu in the lead role.  It is believed that TR is looking to rope in the Oscar winner AR Rahman for this project. Interestingly, AR Rahman was a key board artiste in T Rajendar's camp during his initial days and hence sources say that he may agree to do the honours. With Rahman having a number of projects lined up, will he be able to take up the offer?

STR’s Podaa Podi single track and teaser soon

Podaa Podi is the upcoming romantic movie being directed by Vignesh Shivan that features Simbu and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in the lead roles. Latest on it is makers are planning to unveil the single track along with a 1 minute teaser in this June.

Dharan is composing the music tunes and background for Podaa Podi. Remember the track 'Love panlama venama...' released with the first trailer long back has become an instant chartbuster. Now makers have planned to launch 'Love panlama' full song along with a 1minute visual teaser.

Confirming the news Simbu tweeted in his micro blogging page, "Love panlama , venama single song from Podaa Podi will be releasing this month !!! With a 1min visual teaser as well !!!" Padam Kumar is producing Podaa Podi under Gemini Films Circuit banner that also casts veteran actress Shobana, Saranya Mohan and Poonam Kaur in the pivotal roles.
